2021 : This special virtual session featured the Chair of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission, Ian Scott, in conversation with the Acting Chair of the Federal Communications Commission, Jessica Rosenworcel. 2015 (Washington, D.C.) : 46th Annual Conference of the International Institute of Communications. Registration for the Washington event on October 7 and 8 included attendance at the opening reception for the conference on October 6, which was organized by IIC Canada at the architecturally striking Embassy of Canada overlooking the Washington Capitol. As a result of our involvement with the international conference, a Canadian Chapter conference was not held in Ottawa this year but it will return in 2016.

2009 (Montreal, Quebec): International Institute of Communications’ 40th anniversary conference Trends in Global Communications: Wrestling with Unpredictability. IIC Canada was proud to host the IIC’s 2009 annual conference. As a result of our involvement with the international conference, a Canadian Chapter conference was not held in Ottawa this year.
